Karen is a Principal with Chiampou Travis Besaw & Kershner LLP, specializing in providing auditing, accounting and consulting services to middle market companies.  Her clients include businesses in the distribution, manufacturing and various service industries, with an overall concentration in the construction industry.  Karen is a Certified Construction Industry Financial Professional.  She has experience in providing various audit services for the bankruptcy system.  Karen is also knowledgeable in tax return review and preparation for individuals, partnerships, corporations and not-for-profit entities.  

Prior to joining the firm in 1996, Karen was previously affiliated with a local public accounting firm for three years.

• Has experience in business process reviews and preparation of financial projections and cash flow models

  • Provides corporate tax planning and compliance services to privately owned businesses.

  • Performs audits of individual bankruptcy petitions for the United States Trustees, resulting in the identification of undisclosed or undervalued assets and income in most cases
