Tom is a Principal with Chiampou Travis Besaw & Kershner LLP, specializing in providing accounting, tax and consulting services to not-for-profit organizations and governmental agencies. Tom also provides auditing, accounting and consulting services to closely-held businesses in the Western New York area. His current clients include businesses in the not-for-profit, wholesale and retail, manufacturing, construction and various other service industries.

From 1985 through 1997, he was previously associated with Conway Porter, CPA, PC, a local Buffalo-based accounting firm. His clients there included various not-for-profit organizations and local governmental agencies, as well as small business consulting.

His selected experiences include:

• Has significant experience in the development of management letters, representing opportunities for improvement in current business practices and operational efficiency, for both for-profit and not-for-profit organizations.

• Performs OMB Circular A-133 compliance audits (Single Audits) for both not-for-profit and governmental entities.

• Has experience in performing business process reviews and due diligence projects.
