Our firm culture is driven by the entreprenuerial spirit of the Partner group. The Firm consists of approximately 80 employees who work in a "business casual environment with a professional attitude." The Partner group manages by committee and ALL decisions are made locally. The Senior Management team is involved in day-to-day activities and works side by side with the professional and administrative staff to achieve the Firm's mission. The relaxed atmosphere and open-door policy makes it a comfortable work environment for every Firm Associate. We understand the need for balance between professional and personal lives and offer flexibility based on individual needs.
Community involvement is an important part of the culture at CTB&K. Our Helping Hands team provides opportunities for employees to give back to the community in which we live by donating our time and energy to help local charities. The firm is located in a beautiful park-like setting in Amherst, a suburb of Buffalo. Commuting is made easy as the newly constructed office building is positioned just off Interstate 990, and all employees enjoy the benefit of free parking.

Health Insurance
For 2012, eligible employees have the choice between two different types of health insurance offered through Univera, including a Health Savings Account Plan. Coverage premiums for single persons are paid entirely by the firm while those employees with families make small bi-weekly contributions from their paychecks.
Dental insurance is offered at reduced rates.
Medical and Dependent Care pre-tax flexible spending accounts are also available.
401(K)
Employees are eligible to make contributions to an employer matched 401(K) plan which offers numerous investment options.
Paid Time Off & Holidays
Paid Time Off varies depending on the length of service with the firm.
A schedule of holidays is provided to employees and all holidays are paid days off.

We recognize that everyone is not able to commit to a full-time position with our firm given the rigors of our industry and believe that there are situations in which a flexible work arrangement can provide our firm with a talented group of dedicated professionals and be a good solution for individuals who wish to continue working in our profession while being able to focus on family and other commitments outside of work. Accordingly, we have Flexible Work Arrangements in situations where there is a good fit for both the firm and individual professionals.
The Professional Staff are compensated at an hourly rate providing the benefit of receiving overtime during peak periods.
